I wasn't a big fan of not re-signing Thome in the spring, but I understood what Ozzie wanted to do. I'm not exactly thrilled about Manny coming to the Southside, but if it gets the Sox over the hump, I can live with it. Mandruw Kotsones isn't exactly lighting up the DH spot or getting RISP across the plate.
The teams have until Tuesday to decide, pending player approval.
OOooohhh now he would be a good DH for the Southside!
