This deal has been in the works for most of the year. I know, we're only 17 days into the year, but this has happily taken most of those days. This is not to say that this was a difficult trade to pull off. It was the sheer size of the trade that was a little prohibiting.
I didn't have any 1965 Topps doubles to trade, but as luck would have it, Kevin was trying to complete sets. I have a lot of cards from past uncompleted sets on hand, so it was days of going through his massive want list and matching up his wants with my trading stock. It sounds a lot easier than it actually is.
After the 300th 1988 Topps back, you start to hallucinate by seeing these faded orange blobs and the numbers all start to look alike. It's actually comforting and a bit scary at the same time. Especially at 3 AM. Anyways, enough rambling. Let's see what this massive trade netted for both parties.

A bunch of Orioles cards ranging from 1977 until present.
Now you see why it took so long. We both got slightly closer to completing those sets with a few pesky missing cards. I actually completed my 1990 Topps White Sox set, so I am very happy about that. I'm hoping the cards I sent out arrived. If they haven't gotten there already, they should be there very shortly.
Funny you should be posting this - I just updated my Orioles blog with a more general trade-related entry! I got the cards Monday and couldn't be more pleased. The Ken Singleton and Scott McGregor cards were my first Orioles from 1977 and 1980, respectively. Eddie Murray cards are always appreciated, and believe it or not, I didn't have any Javy Lopez O's cards before I received your 2005 Donruss. So thanks again! Glad your cards arrived in one piece!
