It took six and a half hours, but I am finally back online as of today. The past near month has been a hellish combination of angst and anxiousness as I stood helplessly by as I could not trick my computer to let me back online.
The transfer of ISPs is now complete and it's not a moment too soon! It will take a little bit to catch up fully on the things I have missed. In the meantime, anyone who is awaiting a package from me, please, kindly drop me an e-mail and remind me. I took on a package sending freeze when I went offline.
The biggest White Sox related news was that Jose Contreras is ahead of schedule and could break camp with the parent team in Ozzie Guillen's best estimation. That's amazing news considering he wasn't due back until August! Ex-Sox rent-a-player Griffey will probably end up in Atlanta and the Sox were after Lo Duca? Ugh.
I know the biggest news in my absence was about a current Yankee and former Ranger. I'm not even going to touch that one. It may taint this blog too much.
I received a bunch of messages from readers and fellow bloggers concerned about my lack of updates in the past few weeks. Thank you, one and all, for your concern. It really touched me. It's nice to know that I was missed.
I did purchase my first 2009 cards and I will be posting my first White Sox card of the year, along with the contents of all the packages I received in the mail during my solitary confinement.
As my online life returns to normal, so will the posting on this and my other blogs. Thank you for your patience and we now return you to your regularly scheduled baseball card blog.
Yay! You're back!
