Talk Like A Pirate Day's official MLB spokesperson,
DAVID AARDSMA
ThAARR be the treasure, me hearties!

ThAARR be me name and numbAARR!

When you see the whites of my numbAARR, I be huntin' for ya!

One day, through a perfect alignment of karma, David Aardsma will play for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Until then, MLB's "Talk Like A Pirate Day" spokesperson, David Aardsma, will be one team away from greatness.

If the Pirates would like to have him, I would be willing to give him up for just about nothing. He is hAARR to watch when he pitches.
Aaaaaaarrrrrr this be a fine post, matey!
I know you mentioned the Pittsburgh Pirates. But wouldn't the way to talk like a Pirate be "Man, how could we not have had a winning season since 1992?"
Yaarrr. Ye neednt be remindin' the brethren about thaar recent misfortunes. That'll get ya sixty days in the brig or ya might be findin' yourself walkin' the plank, matey.
As a Giants fan, I remember his ML debut, when he broke Hank Aaron's all time major league record for being first in alphabetical order.
As a kid, I never thought that MLB alphabetical record would be broken unless that player had the last name of Aardvark. Aardsma even surpassed my predictions.
