Coco definitely took everyone by surprise, and made it a really close play at the plate. Another 1/2 step lead and he would have been safe. Great heads up play by AJ though, going out to the front of the plate to make the tag.
If there was any hesitation by Thornton on the pitch, Crisp would have been safe. Regardless of the outcome, that's the kind of game I love to watch. I didn't catch the angle from third base until after the game, but that was a huge lead by Crisp, even before the pitch was thrown. Great game!
