On this day in 1906, the White Sox won Game 5 over the Cubs in the World Series.
The 8-6 win would put the Sox one game away from winning the 1906 World Series. Ed Walsh got the win and Doc White had a three inning, one-hit save. Frank Isbell enjoyed four doubles in the game!
