On this day in 1964, Steve Rosenberg was born.
Steve can to the White Sox with Dan Pasqua and Mark Salas from the New York Yankees in a trade in 1987. Steve pitched for parts of three seasons with the Sox before being traded to the San Diego Padres in March 1991. While mostly in relief, the Sox tried Rosenberg as a starting pitcher in 1989. He made twenty-one starts, pitching two complete games. Steve finished his White Sox career with a record of 5-14 and a 4.82 ERA.
