RIP Gerry Staley

It's just come to my attention that Gerry Staley has passed away. He was a vital part of the 1959 AL championship team. Gerry revitalized his career as a reliever after his starts began to suffer.

Gerry was on the mound when the Sox clinched the AL title in 1959. If I had the chance, I would have thanked Gerry for his service on the White Sox. Gerry will not be forgotten anytime soon.
