On this day in 1936, Wayne Causey was born.
Wayne found himself on the White Sox through a trade with the California Angels on May 27, 1966. Through parts on three seasons with the ChiSox, Causey hit .223 with one home run and forty-eight RBI in two hundred sixty-one games. Primarily at second base for the Pale Hose, he also played a handful of games at shortstop and third base.
The White Sox traded Wayne to the California Angels on July 20, 1968.
