1961 Topps #157 Cal McLish
On this day in 1925, Cal McLish was born.
Calvin Coolidge Julius Caeser Tuskahoma McLish was traded to the White Sox on December 15, 1960 from the Cincinnati Reds. McLish's one season with the Sox saw him post a 10-13 record with a 4.38 ERA and eighty strikeouts.
The White Sox sent Cal to the Phillies on March 24, 1962 as a replacement player to complete a trade on December 15, 1961, when Andy Carey refused to report to the Philadelphia club.
