On this day in 1965, Adam Peterson was born.
Adam was drafted in the fifth round of the 1984 amateur draft by the White Sox. Peterson made his debut on September 19, 1987 against the Seattle Mariners, starting the game and going four innings. He compiled a 2-7 record and a 6.01 ERA, switching between the starting rotation and the bullpen. On March 31, 1991, Adam was traded to the San Diego Padres.
