On this day in 1885, Shano Collins was born.
Shano spent his first eleven seasons with the White Sox, starting in 1910. He was a part of two World Series with Chicago, batting .250 between both series. Over his eleven seasons, he hit .262, 1,254 hits, 540 RBI and 193 stolen bases. On March 4, 1921, Collins was traded to the Boston Red Sox, where he spent his final five seasons.
