Like most Michael Bay movies, Manny Ramirez gets a lot of people excited because of the name. There might be a few colorful explosions and some questionable actions, but at the end of the day, it's usually just mindless fun. And when it's over, people often wonder why anyone would pay all that money for what turned out to be mostly hype and not enough substance.At least this describes his last few years in the MLB. When he was younger, he was electric and something special. The last few years have played out exactly like a Michael Bay movie. Not that it's bad, just not as good as it once might have been.
So long, Manny. Your time on the South Side of Chicago was... interesting? Let's just say interesting. Happy retirement.

Manny just bought his ticket out of the HOF, getting caught twice in two years is pretty dumb or pretty arrogant. We all know that he was a great natural hitter, but now his homerun power has to come into question. He also probably knew all along that if he got caught again, he would just retire with quarter billion dollars he's made playing baseball.
