On this day in 1946, Tom Paciorek was born.
Traded by the Seattle Mariners on December 11, 1981, Tom was one of the building blocks for the "Winning Ugly" team of 1983.During three and a half seasons with the White Sox, Paciorek batted .288 with twenty-four home runs and one hundred fifty-six RBI. Wimpy later became a beloved broadcaster with the White Sox from 1988 until 1999.
