On this day in 2007, the White Sox received Orlando Cabrera from the Anaheim Angels for Jon Garland.
Orlando played in one hundred sixty-one games for the Sox in 2008. He hit .281, stole nineteen bases and scored ninety-three runs, helping the Sox reach the playoffs.
Cabrera signed with the Oakland Athletics for the 2009 season.
