On this day in 1913, Jim Scott struck out twelve.

The Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants went on an off-season World Tour of exhibition games. This day found them in Muskogee, Oklahoma, playing in front of a crowd of 3,000, including rowdy cowboys cheering. The White Sox won easily, 7-1. Jim Scott struck out twelve, while pitching a complete game.
