2010 Upper Deck Cards In Hand

News of 2010 Upper Deck having hit the streets is true! I found a blaster at Wal-Mart while killing time waiting to pick up my dog from the groomers.

8 cards per pack. 10 packs to the blaster. Let's see how the White Sox stack up in the blaster.

The first 2010 Upper Deck White Sox card is...

139 - Gavin Floyd

Minimal logo showing. Enough to get a warning, but not much else.

9 - Tyler Flowers

No logo showing. Nice card within the parameters.

129 - Alexei Ramirez

Full logo showing on Alexei and Jose Guillen. Hence, the lawsuit.

The design on these cards is pretty decent, but I'm inclined to skip them just because I don't like the legal gamesmanship Upper Deck is going through.

Very 1994esque!! I actually don't like them all that much, but I rarely purchased UD flagship anyway.

I agree with PRS. I will probably pick up a few packs and collect the Phils but that will be it for me. Beardy has a tremendous commentary that sums up my feelings on this.

I'm just intending to collect the White Sox cards. I like the balls of Upper Deck, but that only gets you so far without grinding themselves into the ground. It sounds like the desperation of a sinking company. I'd like to think UD is smarter than that.

Is there a full set checklist out there?

Nothing definitive that I've seen. Each checklist card has all the cards listed for that team on the back, but I have no idea about inserts or anything like that. I still don't know about the full White Sox checklist in the base set right now.
