Don Wakamatsu Fired

One of my favorite players (now manager) has been fired from his managerial job with the Seattle Mariners. I'm a little bummed. I've tried following his career since he was a third string catcher with the White Sox. It's just gotten slightly harder to follow now.

Good luck to Don Wakamatsu, wherever his next job may be. At least I got to see two Wakamatsu led games against the White Sox this year, in person. So, I've got that going for me.

I heard speculation that he could join Buck Showalter in Baltimore next year as a coach.

Speaking of which, sorry about the 3 out of 4 series loss (but not too sorry). Your starting pitching is outstanding. If Peavy ever stays healthy...

Great news that Wakamatsu may end up in Baltimore.

It may just be the new manager bounce, but whatever Showalter is doing so far, it's working. That was a close series!

That was sad that he got fired, though at least he will still use his skill as a coach at Baltimore. I hope he will find his place. Wish you luck..
