A.J. Pierzynski: Player Of The Week

Congrats to A.J. Pierzynski, who scores MLB's first AL Player of the Week in 2008!

He had a .529 average, with 2 home runs and 9 hits in the first week. He was also in the mix of nearly every good play during that time. Maybe it just seemed that way.

A.J. has been working with a Nintendo DS, playing a game that is supposed to improve hand/eye coordination. It looks like it's working just fine!

A.J. edged out Jermaine Dye for the honors. Maybe next time, Jermaine! The first week is all about A.J.

Doesn't surprise me at all. I picked AJ as the MVP-so-far for the AL. That may change in 2 weeks, but for the time being he's on top of the world.

I have been dreaming about AJ lately, don't know why, maybe because he so some weight and he just look so sexy to me.
